April 5, 2008 - Home School Regatta 2008

We went to see Jeanne's last Home School Regatta in early April. It started out pretty chilly, but warmed considerably as the morning progressed.

After being late for every one of these we planned to be there early to watch them push off for the race. Unfortunately, the alarm clock in our hotel room had not been reset since the Spring time change, so we again ended up missing their leaving. We did see them rowing upstream to the start of the race, and I got a few good photos of that.

They didn't quite win the race. They came in second place... pretty good if you don't know there were only two boats. So long as they had fun and a good workout, it was worth it.
